Dosing hours vs. office hours: what’s the difference?

Published by Addiction Treatment Systems · Awaiting editorial review

Two schedules, two purposes

Dosing hours are when medication is given at the clinic. Office hours cover other business — questions, scheduling and administrative help — and can run later than dosing.

If you need medication, plan around dosing hours, not office hours.

Saturday differences

Saturday hours are shorter than during the week, and dispensing occurs from 7:00–10:00 a.m. at the Maryland clinics. Martinsburg Institute lists Saturday hours of 6:30–10:00 a.m.

Sundays and holidays

The Maryland clinics list Sunday as closed. Martinsburg Institute’s Sunday hours are not listed. Holiday schedules are not published — call your clinic to confirm.
